Rule Book Disclaimer
The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing
events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the
conditions of all events and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complies
with these rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS
OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND OR REGULATIONS. They are intended as a guide for the
conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or
official. The race director shall be empowered to permit reasonable and appropriate deviation from any of
the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that his/her opinion do not alter the minimum
acceptable requirements. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH
ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of
the officials. Their decision is final

RULES FOR BRACKET RACING (PETE CHAVIS Points Series)
1. If you smoke it, you load it!!! Any excessive breaking when smoke is
visible to starting line official, you will be disqualified.
2. Lane choice is your decision. If single file, flip of coin will determine.
3. Your dial in must be clear and legible on the front right windshield & on
the passenger side window from the tower. The dial-in must be on your
car prior to crossing the line at the head of the staging. It is your
responsibility as a racer to check your dial-in to make sure it is correct.
Dial-ins are displayed on the dial-boards & on the scoreboards. If you
stage, then the dial-in was accepted & the run stands as is.
4. No driver or crew shall drink any form of alcoholic beverage prior to
racing. We, the Track Officials, will determine if a driver is unable to drive
due to influence of alcohol. This is for your safety as well as others. Also,
you forfeit the race & no money will be refunded.
5. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated!!! Profanity in front of
any race official will not be tolerated. Any unsportsmanlike conduct will
be grounds for disqualification.
6. No Mid-Range Sputters Allowed.
7. No Two-Stepping First sixty (60) feet.
8. A safe speed of (10) mph or less on the return road & (5) mph in the pit
area is enforced.
9. No one under (16) years of age is allowed to drive anything with wheels
other than his/hers Jr. Dragster.
10. Break passes will be given their entry fee back (minus admission fee),
excluding Test & Tune.
11. There will be 1 time run & a Dash for Cash. Those that do not wish to
participate in The Dash for Cash will be given a 2nd time run. The Dash
for Cash Winner will be the closest to his\her dial-in. In the event of a tie,
we will go to the best reaction time.
12. Courtesy staging is recommended, do not stage your car until your
opponent has pre-staged.
13. If DEEP staging, please be considerate of the driver in the opposing
lane. Write DEEP on all four (4) windows of your car.
14. Once you cross the commitment line, you are considered a pair. If you
break after you cross the line, you have two (2) minutes to make the run
before the other driver is given a competition break. When in the staging
lanes, please stay with your car & be ready to race.
15. Staging lanes will be run at the Staging Lane Director’s discretion.
16. Any racer that participates in more than one class will be responsible
for keeping up round after round. There will be no waiting on drivers.
17. Only one crew member is allowed on the starting line.
18. Cars will be paired by a draw when there are 4 cars or less in the
class. If your opponent breaks & does not appear in the staging lanes,
you will be given a competition break win, you will not be required to run
the bye run car.
19. Pro cars must have roll bars, helmets, & quick release type driver
safety belts in good condition.
20. Anyone running 8.00 or quicker in the 1/8 mile is required to wear a
helmet although it is recommended for all classes. All JR Dragsters must
wear a helmet.
21. No electronics will be allowed in the Foot brake & JR Dragster
classes. Delay boxes must be out of the car.
22. Official's Decision in all matters are final!!!
23. First or worst policy enforced. Red light vehicle will be reinstated if the
other vehicle crosses center line, or runs off track.
24. Bye run vehicle must break the stage beams and proceed down the
track, if there is no hazard towards spectators, track or car and driver.
Judgment call made by track official.
25. First bye run will go to the winner of dash for cash.
26. With (5) cars or less if you can not find who you want to race 710 will
pair the contestants up in a manner of our discretion.
27. If the winner of a round car breaks and is unable to make the next
round, the loser cannot be substituted for him or his number put on
another car.
28. If your car breaks during time runs you can put your number another
car.
29. Any fighting or reckless driving in the pit area will subject you to be
dismissed from the track.
30. If you have a question, see the person at the head of staging or the
starter.
31. 710 Drag Strip assumes no responsibility for damage to or loss of your
equipment, vehicles or any part by any means whatsoever.
32. At any time, the display of any type of weapon to cause harm you will
be suspended and/or arrested from 710.
33. If track calls two cars to run over, the one or ones who refuse will be
disqualified ***Final***.
34. This is just a few rules to go by, if you think of more let us know.

10 Points to enter 10 Points per round and 10 Points to winner.

710 King of the Extreme Street Series
RULES
1. FRAME (STOCK).
Stock rear sub frames are required, but other frame portions may be notched for
tire clearance only. When notching stock inboard section of rear frame, rails must
remain stock. Notching for rear end clearance not allowed. Front frame stock or
after market k-member allowed.
2. TIRES.
Any DOT tire no wider than 11.0 tread and no taller than 30" in diameter.
3. NO WHEELIE BARS.
4. INTERIOR.
A. Must remain stock appearing, including OEM dash and steering column cover.
B. Carpeted floor and tunnel.
C. Driver and passenger seat.
D. Windshield OEM safety glass window.
5. MINI TUBS ALLOWED.
6. Headlights and taillights for year and make of car required to be functional.
7. Must have mufflers.

Both Pit Bull 10.5 and the Extreme Street Series will be running for points this
(2010) season. The points are sponsored by Holcomb Motorsports who will be
awarding $500.00 plus a 2010 Championship Jacket for the winner in each
class. 10 Points to enter, 10 Points per round and 10 Points to the winner for
each race. NO ENTRY FEE!
